- To be ready for the Judgment Seat
We [Christians] will all stand before God's judgment seat. Rom 14:10b
We'll be judged for our:
- Words: But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. Mat 12:36
- Motives: He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men's hearts. 1 Cor 4:5
- Fruit: Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Mat 7:19
- Actions: Each person was judged according to what he had done. Rev 20:13b
- Letting Jesus lead daily is His idea
- Anyone who intends to come with me has to let me lead. You're not in the driver's seat-I am. Don't run from suffering; embrace it. Follow me and I'll show you how. Self-help is no help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, my way, to finding yourself, your true self. What good would it do to get everything you want and lose you, the real you? Luke 9:23-25 MSG
- Planning is God's Idea
- Put God in charge of your work, then what you’ve planned will take place. Prov 16:3 MSG

- Do your best, prepare for the worst— then trust God to bring victory. Prov 21:31 MSG
